Productivity Makes Property Managers

Stressed Out

Managing an investment property is no easy task. There are numerous things you need to remember ranging from routine check-ups to scheduling maintenance appointments. Combine all of those tasks with your day to day life of remembering birthdays, grocery lists and personal appointments; it can become incredibly stressful and forgetful. Thankfully, there are some apps out there to help you stay productive and remember everything that matters to you. Here are five free apps that will reduce stress and increase productivity:

  1. Remember The Milk

If you are looking to make numerous task lists and want reminders sent to you from all angles, this is the platform to use. It can integrate with numerous programs like Gmail, Google Calendar, Evernote and even Twitter. You can access Remember the Milk from your desktop computer and apps on your various devices, making this a good tool for property managers on the go.

  2. Mind 42

Interested in graphing out your to-do list, rather than simply listing them? Consider checking out Mind 42 to make a mind map of everything you need to do. It is a way to visually track tasks that affect each other and is helpful for those who need to see the entire picture of a plan rather than solely seeing a few steps at a time.

  3. Trello

Making multiple to-do lists for separate areas of your life is made simple with Trello. You can make various boards and share them with the appropriate people involved. Setting up a surprise party with some friends? You can add them to a surprise party board with multiple check-lists on there. You can have boards for vendors who work on your investment property and can use this as a collaboration tool. Trello is available on the common platforms, such as desktop computers, phones and tablets.

  4. Wunderlist

Similarly to Trello and Remember the Milk, this is another list app that you can access from your phone or computer. This listing option allows for due dates to be specified, folders to organize your various lists, add notes to the list, and notify you of various dates and times. You can share these lists and add to lists by simply forwarding emails.

  5. Time Tree

Maybe lists and mind maps aren’t fit for your task management needs. Now there is an app you can use on your devices to see your multiple calendars. You can make various calendars and invite people to specific ones where they can add events that will show on your overall calendar along with the specific calendar. You can even share specific events from calendars to people through texts and emails populated by Time Tree.
